Summary
Microbiological aspects of bovine foot rot (BFR) and digital dermatitis (BDD), the leading causes of bovine lameness, were studied by applying high-throughput sequencing and quantification tools to understand the role of the microbiome. This study is carried out in close collaboration with the University of Calgary, Canada.
