Dr Gustav Rosenberger

Dr Gustav Rosenberger lived from 1909 – 1983. Dr Rosenberger is a former professor at the Hannover Veterinary School and was the head of the Clinic for Diseases of Cattle.
He became famous by his textbook ‘Diseases of Cattle’(Krankheiten des Rindes) which he wrote together with his co-workers G. Dirksen, H.D. Gründer and M. Stöber and which was published in 1970.
In 1960, Gustav Rosenberger together with prof. K. Diernhofer founded the World Association for Buiatrics by organizing the first world congress on cattle diseases. From 1962 to 1978 he was Secretary General of the World Association for Buiatrics.
